  • Class 1: The Basics

    Ok good!
    
    Now I want all of you to enter the following numbers in to the given 
    slots. Ready here we go. So as none of us will see these kind of numbers 
    any time soon. Lets dream.
    
    SP:20
    ACC:20
    STR:20
    WS:20
    
    YOU MUST DO THIS BEFORE YOU DO CLASS 2
    Its simple I know but this way we know the program works on every ones
    computer. So thanks for working with us. We also know that you know how
    to input the info.
    
    Now hit roll! Very well done class, now proceed to class 2!
    

  • Class 2: Speed 101
    
    Speed
    How fast you move, this will determine a couple of things.
    
    1.If being attacked your speed will determine if you moved out of the
     way quick enough to avoid the hit. The test will be speed verses 
    Accuracy. If they rolled a Accuracy of 4 and you roll a speed of 4 or 
    greater you dodge the hit but if you roll lower you get hit.
    
    If they roll an Acc:9 and you roll a SP:4 you just got creamed. Please 
    use these differences in numbers to tell every one of your battle. If 
    there is a large negative gap Please tell us of your pain. If there is 
    a large Positive gap please tell us of you daring escape
    
    If you if you completely mess up your defence and are disarmed (SPD:0).
    
    You drop your weapon and must fight hand to hand on your next attack.
    
    Please see the Final Class on Botch rules.
    
    2.If playing a tournament speed will be a target number to hit a moving 
    target. Say we are having an archery tournament of hitting a wooden 
    rabbit that moves back and forth. The rabbit will have a speed of 2 so 
    you roll against that to hit. You roll a 2 you hit it once, 4 twice, 6 
    three times and so on based on accuracy match as well.
    
    So if you had a target of SP:8 and you roll a 4 you missed and ppl are 
    laughing at you, But at lest they are not throwing rotten fruit at you 
    like the guy that rolled a SP:1. ;D
    
    3. Finally Speed will determine some test of skill games against each 
    other such as foot race where the higher wins or the knife toss and so
    on.
    
    So lets say two arches want to race each other so we set a Target number
    of 50. but you say "Wait there can't be a 50 there is no way to roll that"
    
    And I would say right you are. But this is a Special preset That means
    the rules in the thread augment the game a bit. In this case you would 
    Roll and post your SP what ever Number you rolled then the person you are
     racing against would do the same and then you sould go again Rolling 
    your sp. Then you would take that Number and add it to you Nuber you 
    rolled before. Untill one of you reached the target number.
    
    So for a bit of sport I want you each to race to a target of 15.
    
    Each leg of your race must be in a seperate post.
    
    For this Bit I want you to use SP:8  just roll and posthere what you roll
    till you reach 15.
    
    If you roll a zero you still post it, you just didnt move any that turn.

  • Class 3: Strength 101
    
    Strength
    How strong you are, this will determine two main things.
    1. If you can use a weapon, there will be different weapons available as
    you progress some stronger some faster. Your ability to own some of 
    these weapons will be based on your strength. As you might not be strong
    enough to use it.
    
    In a word if you don't beef up you can pick it up
    
    2. This roll will help determine how much damage you receive. If you 
    get hit (speed verse accuracy) then you take damage.
    
    This will be Strength verse Weapon. YOU CAN NOT OUT ROLL A HIT.
    
    If your strength roll is greater or equal to their weapon roll then you 
    take 1/2 damage rounding down, otherwise its full damage.
    
    IF YOU ROLL A 0 YOU TAKE FULL DAMAGE. You take the full assault of their 
    weapon regardless of WS roll. If they roll a WS 5 but their weapon can 
    do WS 9 you take the 9 + base damage
    
    
    3.This will also be used for strong man competitions and other skill 
    games such as arm wrestling and Log toss.

  • Class 4: Hitting Stuff 101
    
    Accuracy Acc:
    How well you hit stuff. 
    1. If you can use a weapon, there will be different weapons available as
    you progress some stronger some faster. Your ability to own some of these
    weapons will be based on your Accuracy. As you might not be good enough 
    to use it. (note you can be good enough to use a weapon and not strong 
    enough so watch how you grow)
    2. This roll will determine if you hit them…. Yea I know obvious. 
    Here is the catch you really won’t know till they respond. A One on 
    one match will be very intertwined for this. Your Accuracy is only good 
    if they are not too fast for you to hit. (see speed)
    3. This will be a determining factor in most skill games. You will 
    need speed and strength to attempt a task you will need accuracy to 
    accomplish it. Yea their all one big happy family.
    
    When you attack this will be your first roll you post. I feel like 
    this is very self explainatory if you have been following the classes 
    in succession. Please post questions on this in Yellow.
    
    
    
    Weapon or WS:
    Choose your poison Bow, Axe, Sword…. Flaming bra your call.
    1. So this is what you use. There will be a list posted later that 
    will tell you what you can buy. (yea that cost points too) . Some stuff
    will be granted as a measure of rank other can only be purchased when 
    you reach a certain skill level.
    2.This roll will determine the amount of damage possible. ALL CARRIED 
    WEAPONS WILL HAVE A BASE DAMAGE. Some will have a higher base some 
    lower. Your roll will determine the amount of damage over that you 
    can cause. In general the higher the base damage the lower the add 
    on roll will be.
    3. This two will be a part of skill games such as block breaking, 
    wood chopping (infantry) Cut the rope (archers) and Jousting (Calvary) 
    and so on.
    4.There will be time were you may not have a weapon... trust me it will 
    happen. When this happens you will default to your fist and that damage 
    will be based on you strength. Except there is NO BASE DAMAGE*. You 
    use your strength number to make the weapon roll. *Infantry will have 
    a hand to hand combat skill that can be purchased like a weapon and 
    used in special stituations.

    If you have a Weapon with a BASE damage of 4 and a Weapons Roll or WS:9 
    what is the greatest possible damge that it can do?
    
    Bonus: When can the Infantry add WS to thier hand to hand? (hint 
    look back at Str)

  • Class 5: Getting Hit 101
    
    Ok This will be quick as again it very self explainatory.
    
    Armor, (AR+HP=)
    
    1. Will be either a permant deduction to all damage or a monthly 
    addition to HP.
    
    2. Both must be purchased
    
    3. If you are wearing armor and you Roll a 0 in Str you will still 
    lose you weapon for one turn.* (infantry special equilaser case excluded)
    
    4. If you are wearing HP increase Armor it will only refresh at the start
    of the month.
    
    5. You may only wear one suit of armor at a time.
    
    6. Armor cost points! So spend wisely.

    So here is the skinny
    
    You have an HP=100 right..
    
    If you are wearing AR+20 you would then have
    
    AR+20HP=100(+20)
    when you get hit the 20 get removed first leaving you with more HP to 
    fight with. i.e you are hit with a damge of 5 you would go from AR+20 
    to AR+15
    
    If you are wearing AR-3 you would have
    
    AR-3HP=(3-hit )+100
    
    So that no matter what damage is done you get to subtract three from 
    it. ( there is no adding back) i.e. they roll a 2 and you have AR-3 you 
    can't add the left over one to your hp. But it never wears out.
    
    You must have you AR displayed at all times if you post an HP with out 
    your AR then its the same as not having Armor on. This is only fair for
    ppl to keep up with what is going on.

  • Class 6: Finals

    if you roll a zero in the Following the result will be an automatic....
    
    
    Speed: lose the use of your weapon for one turn. You can attack only with
    hand to hand for one turn. Your ACC becomes 1 and your Damage will equal 
    your STR Roll until you retrieve your weapon. Note that also when soaking
    damage from a Hand to Hand attack (not the Infantry Equaliser) if the 
    defender's STR roll is equal to or greater than the attackers there 
    is NO DAMAGE!
    
    Please see the Infantry Equaliser skill for the exception
    
    Strength: You take the full assault of their weapon regardless of 
    WS roll. If they roll a WS 5 but their weapon can do WS 9 you take 
    the 9 + base damage
    
    PLEASE NOTE: Damage Reducing Armour (AR- type) is ignored
    
    Accuracy: You hit your self with your own weapon inflicting an 
    automatic damage of base of weapon. What ever you weapons base 
    is you subtract that off your HP automatically
    
    If the user has been disarmed in the same round (SP 0) then the 
    user takes STR damage or in the case of the Infantry the Base 
    score for the level of Hand to Hand they have
    
    PLEASE NOTE: Damage Reducing Armour (AR- type) is ignored
    
    Weapons Skill: You only can inflect base damage.

    This class you must go out and do some research.
    
    You must look at the Mock battles to see how to post your reply.

    You will be battling me every, one must respond here once to this attack only!
    I will judge your response for areas that you may not have grasped 
    and PM you any thing that you might need to go back over. As I may not
    have explained myself well. Please be sure you have done all the class 
    prior to this and you have looked over the mock battles to study how to
    respond.

    to the attack!
    
    Note:
    that after this there will be a ceremony at your division where you 
    will be given your points to get your stats. Start Pupils will be 
    rewarded with Bonus points. So check you answers!
    
    
    Training Sword 5 base, WS 7 / used only in training
    
    Canis walks out in his Training Robes, his mouth moves but there is 
    no sound he stand still the wind blows and his mouth no longer moving
